public class ResourceOperator
extends Object

You can get a remote resource as a raw string or as a tuple if a decoder is provided.

Each resource must be configured in the bolt configuration this way :

Fields description :

• URL : Full url to get resource. Only required field.
• Startup Loading : Ensure the resource is loaded on startup. Default true.
• Cron : Refresh rate of this resource. Default null.
• Decoder : Which Punch Decoder for Tuple conversion of resource's content. Default null. When null, no conversion is made and this resource is only available as String.
• Decoder settings : Additional settings for decoder (ex: csv separator). Default null. Refer to decoders doc for available settings

You can then get these resources using this operator :

     Tuple t = getResource("myResourceName").asTuple();
 

Or using one of the operator that uses remote resource (like validate operator) :

     validateSchema("myResourceName").on([logs][log]).into([logs][error]);
