When writing to Kafka using the asynchronous API, in case of write error it is best to close the producer and reinit a new one.

However doing that cannot be easily done from the onCompletion callback of the asynchronous kafka producer. Hence this small class that

request the closing of this producer. This only marks it as to be closed but does nothing.

You can safely call this from a Kafka onCompletion callback

Returns:

true if this is the first time you request this. False the subsequent times

closeRequested

Returns:

true if a closing has been requested
